Jillian's Scary...

But in a good way. I just ordered these two items from Amazon. DVD and Book by Jillian Michaels, female trainer from The Biggest Loser. I got really into the show a few season ago and really fell in love with Jillian and her kick your butt way of training. What I love about her is that she really does want to see these people succeed. She became very emotionally attached to a few of the contestants on the show and that to me showed a level of caring I didn't expect from her. She comes across very gruff and hard but really she's not. I love her! So I decided after stepping on the scale for almost the first time since I've had Hazel the other day that I need a little extra help getting back to pre baby weight or better yet, better than prebaby weight. Who better to whip me into shape that Jill. I'm so excited to get these in the mail and start learning about how to make a real life change, not just a diet. I hate diets. They never work for me because I'm no good at eating just lettuce or just meat. I need food dang it! I looked over this book while at the book store the other day and she shares some great recipes for all meals and even snacks. Real food I would actually eat, not rabbit food or cardboard. I think I'm so excited about this because as dumb as it sounds, Jillian is almost like a friend I don't get to see often. I think being semi emotionally attached to someone or something makes you want to work harder, push yourself to go that few extra push ups or whatever the case may be. I need to do this for me but it helps to feel like there is this friend there rooting for me all the way. I'll try and track progress here for anyone who is interested. I promise this won't become a crazy health blog though.
